Cisco has transferred the principle of his camera "flip" on Wi-Fi router. The result is a new series called "Valet" with a simple design and simple operation. First, there is two models that differ by the velocity of the cable network ports and range: Valet (four Fast Ethernet ports), and Valet Plus (four gigabit Ethernet ports, range amplifier).

The simplification means that there is little choice – for example between WLAN standards. Cisco relies on IEEE 802.11n, which is backward compatible with 11b and 11g. The administration will have a dashboard on which the network devices to add sony vgp-bps9 battery. There are also a simple control system that: a blacklist of prohibited sites, and a time-dependent block for specific hosts.

To set up a valet model, only three steps are necessary. Cisco also offers a wireless stick, which is known as the Valet Connector. If you close it via USB to the router, it will copy the network settings to access from a PC.

The Flip camera has a record button and a USB port, but not much more. The user can edit his video and just upload it to Youtube. When they appeared before three years they had placed the U.S. market for video cameras on the head. Cisco bought in the wake of the Pure Digital camera lenovo thinkpad x41 battery manufacturers for $ 590,000,000. The Valet routers are the first product that the team from Pure Digital, under the umbrella of Cisco developed.

The Valet will cost about $ 100, plus the $ 150 model. For USB WLAN-Stick Connector, you pay $ 80. Plans for the German market, Cisco has not yet announced.
